Yesterday you had an employee with a 10 lb lifting restriction who had been out of work for 6 months. Today they show up with a piece of paper that says “FULL DUTY RELEASE – NO RESTRICTIONS”. So what do you do? – 1) the “Happy Dance” or 2) tremble in your shoes because you are not confident in your employee’s abilities and concerned about re-injury?
